The universe is expanding and we don’t know why

The Hubble has helped to clarify the universe’s expansion rate.  The new estimate of the Hubble constant: for every 3.3 million light-years farther away a galaxy is from us, it appears to be moving 74 kps faster.  This new estimate means that the universe is expanding about 10% than originally thought.

I wonder if objects being in different time frames have anything to do with this?
