20,000 adult T. rexes lived at one time, +/- a factor of 10. This means that some 2.5 billion lived and died over the 2.5 million years that they were on the earth.
China broke the 100 second record in May and now just smashed that record with a 1056 second run of the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) located in Hefei, China operating at 120 million degrees celsius.
