China broke the 100 second record in May and now just smashed that record with a 1056 second run of the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) located in Hefei, China operating at 120 million degrees celsius.
The web site linked below shows the location and status of the JWST. Currently the first sun shield pallet is deployed and now the temperature sensor data is available.
