Thanks to the concluded Google Lunar XPRIZE, at least five private companies have solidified launch contracts and are hoping to land on the surface of the Moon within the next two years. Because of this tremendous progress, XPRIZE has decided to re-launch a Lunar-focused XPRIZE competition with new parameters that will complete our original mission of making the impossible possible.
