Both halves of the $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope, scheduled to launch in March 2021, have been assembled. The milestone is a result of the efforts of thousands of dedicated individuals for over more than 20 years. The JWT will orbit the Sun, not the Earth.

The researchers have a set a new record of 21.6 percent efficiency, the highest ever achieved for perovskite cells above a certain size.
