The Mars Curiosity Rover is in the middle of a huge dust storm so big that the storm also engulfs the solar-powered Opportunity Rover (which is on the other side of Mars). Being solar powered means it is struggling to keep its internal components warm enough to survive while Curiosity has a better chance because it’s nuclear-powered.
