Giant Current Ripples Caused by Glacial Lake Missoula 14,000 Years Ago

Have you ever noticed the bumps in the sand (called current ripples) while walking in shallow water on the beach? Huge versions of these same features are found in nature and are some of the best evidence of monumental floods caused when huge glacial lakes burst their dams.  Check out the video.
